What is the Sandbox?

The Sandbox Game is a game metaverse where players can buy, sell or trade resources, lands and items, participate in project management, complete quests, and more.

The Sandbox positions itself as a platform for creating and monetizing gaming experiences, in which participants create their own games and entire virtual worlds, with creators having ownership of their creations.

Main features of previous Alpha Seasons

The Sandbox launched its Alpha Season 1 in November 2021 and immediately attracted huge attention from users around the world, becoming one of the most popular blockchain games.

At the beginning of March, The Sandbox announced the start of its Alpha Season 2, repeating the success of the previous one. Players had access to 200 quests with different tasks to level up, earn tickets and get a chance to earn the Season 2 Alpha Pass. A total of 10,000 Alpha Passes were given out to players, while the main prize could reach 1,000 SAND — over $3K USD at that time! In addition to the main prize, each player who completed all of the quests could receive 90 SAND tokens and 20 SAND for completing an additional quest.

Alpha Season 3: Rewards Review

Alpha Season 3, like the previous ones, will have 10,000 Alpha Passes which can either be sold as NFTs or exchanged for 500 SAND tokens. The Alpha Pass can only be exchanged if the reward scale is full. The scale is filled with tokens staked by the user in the staking pool.

Users will need to stake a total of 60 million tokens by the end of the season (Community Staking score) to fill the scale completely. In case there are fewer tokens in the pool at the end of the season, the reward for the Alpha Pass will be lower accordingly. However, do not worry, because based on the experience of previous seasons, the scale should be filled without problems for such an amount of allotted time.

Alpha Pass will be raffled off for tickets, the more tickets — the greater the chance of winning. Tickets can be obtained for various activities:

Up to 500 tickets can be obtained by completing various quests.
Up to 500 tickets for Staking SAND tokens. Each token invested in staking for 10 weeks will earn you 1 ticket. Accordingly, more tokens mean more tickets.
Up to 350 tickets can be obtained by completing daily tasks.
Up to 250 tickets for inviting friends through the referral program.
Up to 210 tickets for a Season 1 or Season 2 Alpha Pass.
Up to 150 tickets by reaching level 5 of Alpha Season 1.

In addition to the Alpha Pass, there will be guaranteed rewards for NFT avatars, lands and item owners:

180 SAND to Land Owner
60 SAND to Avatar Owner
30 SAND to NFT Collector

For completing quests, in addition to guaranteed rewards, you can compete for a place on the Leaderboard! How to get there? For completing each quest, you will receive Ethos points. The harder the quest the more points you get. The 5,000 players who make it to the Leaderboard will share the top prize of 1,500,000 million SAND tokens:

1st place — 30,000 SAND
2nd-10th place — 5,000 SAND
11–200–1,500 SAND
201–1000–750 SAND
1001–5000–60 SAND

It is assumed that the same quest can be completed several times in order to improve the result so that the fight for a place on the Leaderboard will go on throughout the whole season and everyone has a chance to try their luck!

Please note: In Alpha Season 3 you need to pass KYC to collect the rewards. The KYC system was introduced after last season to prevent players from creating multiple accounts to receive awards. You can pass KYC verification on your profile page in the Settings section.

To start playing The Sandbox, you need to register on the official website of the game and connect your Metamask wallet.
